The token need only be held near a PAC door reader for the code to be read (access will be granted or denied within 0.5 of a second). And of course, if a PAC token is lost or stolen, it is easily replaced. Lost tokens can be deleted. The PAC ISO card is manufactured from white ABS plastic making it both strong and durable. It requires no batteries and offers a range of 1 billion codes. The PAC ISO card can be placed into a specially designed card holder attached to a clip or neck chain or can be easily carried in a purse or wallet.
